THINGS TO DO & SEE Wilmington/Clinton County is a great place to live, work, and play.
And we are proud of what we have to offer and the quality of life our residents and workforce enjoy.
The Clinton County Convention and Visitors Bureau is a great resource for a comprehensive list of things to do and see - visit them online at www.clintoncountyohio.com .
Meanwhile, here is a quick glance into Wilmington/Clinton County:
Gather for fine food and friendship at one of the areas unique, privately owned and operated eateries like Rod's Capricorn Inn where the burgers are big and the atmosphere is like no other; or the Mediterranean - Italian served up right cozy style; or how about something sweet along with your home style treats at Etta Lees in downtown Blanchester, just to name a few.
Attend a fun festival featuring Banana Splits (since it was created here in 1907); things get a little “corny” at the annual Corn Festival which many attend for some super sweet corn and sweet memories; eight days in July are spent where else but the County Fair where rural pride shines bright; some newer events which have become new traditions include CrabFest; and during the Holidays be prepared for some Hometown Holidazzle at the all day event followed by a lit up holiday parade.
Plenty of places to play inside and outside with some great venues like the historic Murphy Theatre, shopping, putt-putt golf, three golf courses, movie theatres, one of the few remaining drive-in theatres, a huge horse show arena, a state-of-the art conference center, bowling, parks, walking/biking trails, and more.
And when you’re seeking something more hundreds of other activities are just a hop, skip, and a jump away including an outdoor drama, many museums for kids and adults, major and minor league sporting venues, theme parks, performing arts, zoos, historical landmarks, shopping, and more.
